Desktop Operations and Maintenance Engineer
Requirements
B.Sc. or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related majors
5-10-year working experience
Duty and Responsiblities
Hardware equipment maintenance and management
Responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, fault diagnosis, and maintenance of desktop hardware equipment such as computers, laptops, printers, scanners, copiers, etc., to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
Regularly inspect hardware equipment, record the operating status and maintenance status of the equipment, promptly identify and solve potential problems, and develop and implement maintenance plans and preventive maintenance measures for hardware equipment.
Operating System and Application Management
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, Linux, as well as commonly used applications such as office software, antivirus software, and email clients to ensure stable operation and timely updates of the system and applications.
Resolve faults and issues with the operating system and applications, including software conflicts, system crashes, virus infections, etc., provide technical support and training to users, and guide them in using the operating system and applications correctly.
Handling user internet malfunctions.
User Account and Permission Management
Responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining user accounts and permissions, including domain accounts, local accounts, email accounts, etc., to ensure the security of user accounts and the reasonable allocation of permissions.
Handle password reset, permission adjustment, account locking, and other issues related to user accounts to ensure that users can access the necessary resources and systems normally.
Data backup and recovery
Develop and implement data backup strategies, regularly backup user data, and ensure data security and integrity.
In the event of data loss or damage, be responsible for data recovery work to minimize the impact of data loss on user business as much as possible.
Office equipment and consumables management
Responsible for the procurement, replacement, and management of office equipment consumables to ensure the normal use of the equipment.
Conduct statistics and analysis on the use of office equipment, and reasonably control the cost of consumables and equipment maintenance expenses.
Technical Support and Services
Provide timely and efficient technical support services to users, answer their problems and questions encountered during the use of desktop devices and applications, and provide technical support to users through phone, email, remote assistance, and other means.
Record users' technical support requests and problem-solving situations, regularly summarize and analyze technical support services, and continuously improve service quality and user satisfaction.
